One of the worst things that i’ve ever do in this blog was join an event called “blog action day” that basicly launched a subject that all registered blogs should writing about in an specific time and date in order to give great representativity and strength to the subject on the internet at that moment. Generaly the themes were very relevant, like social questions, etc.
At that time i was starting this blog and i thought that was a good oportunity in showing the blog and also one interesting event to participate. But in fact, the truth was perturbing. Until the moment before the event i haven’t received none SPAM in comments, but after the event realization where the blog was showed, SPAMs started to came up from all over the places.
The amount of SPAM was day by day increasing until one day that i resolved to attack they! Well, the battle’s result was positive. I installed askimet and also delete manualy some SPAMS. After a while i was full of SPAM again, so i thought: I really need an extreme solution! As a i am graduated in IT, i’ve decided to install one plugin called ADMINER (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adminer/) to access the databese directly. In doing this i was able to kill all the SPAMS with some SQL commands.
At the end i was very satisfied and i decided to share with you my experience and recommend the ADMINER plugin as a DB access plugin for wordpress.
